Mapping/GIS

ESdat Desktop: Mapping

ESdat has an internal environmental GIS, providing chemical and geological labels and point/attribute coloring at the click of a button.  Features Include:

  • Chemistry-Specific Data Labels showing compounds across or down, verses depth or date.
  • Exceedances of specific guidelines highlighted
  • Attribute or result coloring (or max / min / average at each point)
  • Moveable labels

ESdat has it’s own in-built GIS and can export to ArcView/ArcMap, MapInfo, Google Earth, DXF, and Surfer if desired.

This internal GIS is designed to allow users to easily see where their data is located and easily view their data as logical labels.  This kind of ease of use and label output, particularly for timeseries or depthseries chemical labels, isn’t available in generic GIS packages.
